One handle pulled away from the body of the product.mend-and-care-kit.name after five weeks of normal use, carrying a 100g project and nothing else. Support replaced it under warranty without argument and the new one looks better finished, so this may have been a one-off — but I cannot recommend it on my first experience.
I like the product.mend-and-care-kit.name and I use it. But at this price I expected a heavier lining and maybe a detachable pouch. Compare it to a plain canvas bag at half the cost and you are paying a real premium for the design.
The product.mend-and-care-kit.name is fine and the delivery estimate was accurate, but the import charges to my country came to nearly a third of the order value on top. I understand that the checkout figure is an estimate, but it was a long way off and it has put me off ordering from abroad again.
The oatmeal shade goes with everything I own. But the real surprise is how structured the product.mend-and-care-kit.name is — it stands up open on its own so I can pull yarn straight out without holding the bag. Small thing, big difference.
No complaints about the product.mend-and-care-kit.name itself — the stitching is even, the lining is soft, and it holds a surprising amount. I just wish the shoulder strap could be unclipped so I could use it as a plain basket on the sofa.

Do you repair bags if a seam fails after a few years?
Yes. Every piece carries a lifetime repair promise: send it back and our studio will restitch or replace the hardware at no cost, you only cover postage one way. We would much rather mend it than sell you another.
How many 100g skeins fit comfortably, with the needles still in?
Two 100g skeins with a printed pattern folder, or three if you pack them side by side and skip the folder. With a 100g skein and a full set of interchangeable tips it still zips closed without strain.
Is the waxed canvas actually water resistant, or is it just a finish?
It is a genuine wax finish on the fabric, so light rain beads off and wipes away. It is not seam-sealed and it is not a dry bag — a sustained downpour will eventually soak through the seams. We recommend re-waxing once a year if you carry it outdoors a lot.
